Peek Inside the Bel-Air Mansion on Airbnb for $21,053 a Night
Many Angelenos may be struggling just to pay their regular rent, but that’s probably far from the mind of a person spending thousands a night on a super-fancy vacation rental. Airbnb has seen such a spike in bookings in the $1,000-and-up category recently that it’s even launched the new Airbnb Luxe collection–including one particularly lavish location here in L.A.
Called the Bellagio Grand–any decent mansion needs a name, you know–the Bel-Air estate goes for $21,053 per night. The home’s nine bedrooms can accommodate up to 21 overnight guests, so if each friend pitches in a grand, it’s practically a bargain. There’s a putting green, gaming lounge with billiards and air hockey, a screening area, gym and sauna, and an elegant bar area for entertaining with a view of the garden.
Stays booked through Airbnb Luxe include some special complimentary touches, including extensive inspections to verify you’re really getting what the host claims, and concierge services to help you book the trip and assist during your visit. Airbnb Luxe guests can also add on features like spa services, personal chefs, on-site butlers and child care, and private drivers–but those you’ll have to pay for.
If you’ve got a spare $21,053 to drop on a trip (and don’t mind a $50,000 security deposit), there are lots of nights still available to book–but just be very sure you get the right dates, as the owners of Bellagio Grand require 95 days of notice to give a refund for a cancelation.
