Two figures of distinctive elegance that complement each other perfectly held hand to present themselves to the public. The new Bentley Continental GT made an appearance surrounded by creations of the artist Karla de Lara in Mexico.
De Lara enjoys a career that crosses continents: awarded last year with the International Leonardo Da Vinci – The Universal Artist, also received a higher degree awarded by the Ibero-American Doctoral Faculty: the Doctor Honoris Causa appointment in recognition of his excellent performance and outstanding leadership in favor of the country, culture and humanity. Furthermore, she held exhibitions in Paris and London, which add to her work presented around the world that make her one of the Mexican artists with the most international art exhibitions.
Her works have been part of museums, fairs and art galleries in more than 37 countries.
Karla de Lara is recognized today as the mother of hyperrealist pop art. Its theme in this area is a kind of exacerbation of hyperpop taken from the entertainment industry and filled with references to the collective imagination that is distorted to approach realism without limiting itself to it.
And as if it were another piece of art, Bentley’s design team has completely reimagined the finest car in its class. Taking their hallmarks of power and refinement and pushing them further still, the new Continental range redefines what a grand tourer can be. And inside the cabin, a whole new level of luxury awaits.
The new Bentley Continental GT and the new Continental GT Convertible combine classic grand tourer proportions with a completely new chassis and electrical architecture. This has enabled the design team to create a car that is impressively long, low, wide and sleek. The result is a truly beautiful, agile grand tourer with unrivalled road presence.
Both figures, representing luxury, converged on the most exclusive point of Guadalajara with guests close to the brands. You can find out more about the Karla De Lara collections from their website Karladelara.com
